De acordo com a imprensa inglesa, os médicos já encontraram ele sem respirar e fizeram de tudo para animá-lo. O incidente ocorreu por volta das 18h13 pelo horário local (15h13) em Brasília, e, até uma hora depois, não havia informações sobre o sucesso na tentativa de ressuscitá-lo.
